CB Florida Paves the Way to Central America Listings

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Inc. of Florida has secured exclusive listing rights for seven luxury town homes in the nation of Panama.

After meeting with a Panamanian developer, Coldwell Banker was granted sole rights to the remaining listings in the first phase of this project. The Villa Palmira town home, in Playa Santa Clar, feature scenic views of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean, three bedrooms, three baths with marble floors, maids? quarters and complete appliance packages for $132,000.

The government is extending 20-year tax-exempt status to anyone who purchases new property. Among the other advantages are a large English-speaking population, several major U.S. and foreign banks, a 1-to-1-currency exchange rate, fishing, golf, pure water, a tropical ecosystem and mild temperatures that normally hover in the 70-80 degree range.
