Stevens Worldwide Van Lines donates trailer usage to Michigan Habitat for Humanity
RISMEDIA, July 3 –Stevens Worldwide Van Lines is assisting Habitat for Humanity in their quest to provide housing for low-income families.
Stevens has donated the use of a trailer that will be utilized by Michigan?s Saginaw County Habitat homebuilding crews as a temporary storage facility for equipment and building materials during their annual home building blitz.
Dave Mocny, Stevens? Saginaw branch manager says, “We like to do our part in responding to the call for community service, and the Habitat for Humanity team really needs a trailer for storing tools and supplies during a house-building project. We try to support this worthwhile effort annually.”
Stevens Worldwide Van Lines was established in 1905 in Saginaw, Michigan. Founder Frederick H. Stevens, Jr. used a single horse and dray to haul baggage to and from the Michigan Central Passenger Depot.
