The New Jersey Apartment Association’s ninth annual Garden State Awards Program set for October. Awards honor state’s best property management professionals, apartment communities and management companies.

RISMEDIA, Aug. 28 — The New Jersey Apartment Association’s (NJAA) 9th Annual Garden State Awards Program, recognizing excellence in apartment living, will be held Oct. 3 at 6:30 pm at the new Lafayette Yard Marriott, two blocks from the State Capitol in Trenton, N.J.

The awards are presented to honor the best property management professionals, apartment communities and management companies involved in New Jersey’s multi-family housing industry.

Awards will be presented to individuals in nine different award categories –best regional manager, property manager, maintenance supervisor, property supervisor, leasing consultant, on-site staff member and corporate staff member.

Additional property and management award categories include Best Web Site, Best Marketing Plan, Best Property Renovation, Management Company, Excellence in Community Service, Curb Appeal, Best New Construction Property, Best Property Built Before 1960, Best Property Built between 1960 and 1979, Best Property Built between 1980 and 1999 and awards for Overall Excellence in both Senior Housing and Affordable Housing.

The Garden State Awards are sponsored in part by NJAA’s 2002 Diamond Sponsors, Platinum Sponsors Segal & Segal and Wilmar Industries along with Affiliated Management, AvalonBay Communities and Rockwell Management.

The cost to attend the program, which includes an opening cocktail hour, dinner and the awards presentation, starts at $85 per member or $150.00 per non-member. Group discounts are available.
