HouseValues introduced service less than four months ago
RISMEDIA, Feb. 3 ? In time for the approaching busy spring home-buying and selling season, HomePages? is now available to consumers in communities as diverse as Stockton, Calif., Raleigh Durham, N.C., Cincinnati, Ohio and Vero Beach, Fla.
HomePages is America’s first free online site to combine detailed aerial maps with in-depth information on homes for sale, neighborhoods, schools, parks, recently sold homes, restaurants and other key community features.
Launched less than four months ago by HouseValues Inc., HomePages (www.homepages.com) already covers the majority of the nation’s housing markets in major metropolitan areas. But in response to growing consumer interest and increasing use by real estate professionals across the country, HouseValues announced that it has added 33 more markets in which homes for sale and entire neighborhoods can be viewed through HomePages.
“Home buyers and sellers are eager for an informative, easy-to-use service that includes not only homes for sale, but comprehensive neighborhood information that’s available in one service,” said Ian Morris, chief executive officer of HouseValues. “HomePages is literally changing the way consumers shop for homes.”
HomePages is the first national home buying and selling service to combine aerial maps, in-depth neighborhood information and nationwide home listings into a single Web site.
The site offers consumers access to nationwide detailed home listings that are updated as often as twice a day to ensure consumers have access to the latest new properties to hit the market. HomePages also gives consumers the option to sign up for daily or weekly home listing emails and to receive a complimentary market assessment of their current home from a local neighborhood real estate expert.
Morris said HomePages’ growing use and popularity is due in large part to its extensive menu of home buying and selling resources and interactive features, including the following:
– Home listings, sent to consumers via email, that are based on their specific search criteria
– Millions of data points for more than 10,000 neighborhoods across the United States, including information on crime statistics, weather trends, banks, places of worship and more
– Free home market evaluations that include market value and comparative analysis
– The option to sign up for home-related newsletters
– The ability to email neighborhood images, home details and listings to friends, family and co-buyers
– Features that allow consumers to compare rates from multiple mortgage lenders
– Access to in-depth articles and features about home buying and selling
– Invitations to participate in interesting home-related surveys and polls
– Fun quizzes that test consumers’ home buying and selling knowledge
