RISMEDIA, June 29, 2006?RE/MAX is now the number one brand name in home sales in the metro Las Vegas area, the company is reporting. Based on home resale statistics from the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors multiple listing service, RE/MAX recorded sales volume of $1.61 billion for the 12-month period ending March 31, 2006, nearly 12 percent of all home resales in the area.

Century 21 ranked second in volume with $1.59 billion. Liberty ranked third with $1.40 billion. Prudential ranked fourth with $1.33 billion.

Denver-based RE/MAX International has 28 affiliated offices in the metro Las Vegas area, with more than 900 Realtors.

No real estate network sells more home listings in the United States than RE/MAX, whose sales associates closed on more than two million sales in 2005. RE/MAX has number one market share in either listings sold or dollar volume in numerous markets throughout the United States, including Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, Houston and Philadelphia.
