RISMEDIA, July 10, 2006?The Talon Group, a division of First American Title Insurance Company, announced that Kenneth C. Crickman has joined the company?s team in Washington, D.C., as vice president and counsel.

Crickman brings more than 15 years of legal experience to his new position. Prior to joining Talon, he worked as an attorney in a large law firm representing banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, developers and institutional owners on a variety of real estate matters in the District of Columbia and Maryland.

His extensive experience includes commercial and residential transfers, zoning applications, condominium conversions, matters involving co-operatives and condominium associations, and landlord-tenant issues. He has also handled complex litigation related to real property disputes, title insurance claims, contracts, adversary proceedings in bankruptcy courts and other legal matters. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he was associated with a Delaware law firm, where he handled the processing of residential real estate settlements.

A resident of Bethesda, Md., Crickman holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C., and a juris doctorate from the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Del. Crickman and his wife, Chrysa, have a daughter, Genni, and a son, Charlie.
