RISMEDIA, August 8, 2006?Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation has announced that the Coldwell Banker? system has grown to nearly 3,900 residential real estate offices worldwide. Eight companies joined the Coldwell Banker family during the second quarter while 19 other Coldwell Banker affiliated companies expanded their operations through expansion or merger/acquisitions. Coldwell Banker now has 3,898 residential offices in 30 countries and territories around the globe.
“Coldwell Banker continues to thrive,” said Jim Gillespie, president and chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation. “We are in the midst of celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary in 2006. Our founder Colbert Coldwell, along with Benjamin Banker, started with the company with one office at 53 Post Street in San Francisco, which opened just a few months after the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake.
