The Terner Prize is being inaugurated this year as a commemoration to Don Terner, accomplished housing advocate, to recognize successful and innovative affordable housing project leaders across the country. One $25,000 prize will be awarded to the affordable housing project and team that best exemplifies the spirit of Don Terner’s commitment to affordable housing and practice principles. In addition, five finalist teams will be awarded leadership stipends of $5,000. Applications are due September 18, 2006. More information is available online at
