GE Supra’s electronic lockbox key devices now support SAFEMLS

RISMEDIA, September 15, 2006?Clareity Security, LLC announced a strategic effort with GE Security Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Electric Company and integration with GE Security’s real estate technology products. Through this collaboration, the SAFEMLS Solution developed by Clareity Security will be fully integrated with GE Security?s electronic keybox system.

The combination of two important security solutions results in an unprecedented product offering, allowing SAFEMLS passwords to be delivered to the Supra eKEY and DisplayKEY devices. The relationship between Clareity Security and GE represents an important agreement between two clear leaders in real estate security technology.

For customers of Clareity Security and GE Security, the product integration is a critical step forward in consolidating the number of hardware devices required for real estate brokers and agents. Clareity Security’s SAFEMLS solution protects against unauthorized access to sensitive customer information and abuse of MLS systems, in part by requiring one-time passwords for login. The primary authentication device used by dozens of MLSs already using SAFEMLS is a key-chain sized token. Now, SAFEMLS users will be able to use GE’s lockbox key devices, including the Supra eKEY and Supra DisplayKEY, to obtain one-time passwords for MLS access, providing a convenient alternative for brokers and agents to carrying a token device.

“We are proud to be aligned with GE in this venture. Clareity Security and GE share a commitment to delivering high quality security products that make sense for practical use in the real estate marketplace,? said Gregg Larson, CEO of Clareity Security. The ability to select from a range of device options and ease of use are important to our SAFEMLS customers, and we believe that our relationship with GE provides SAFEMLS customers with a distinct advantage in both of these areas.”

GE Security’s Stan Earnshaw, a commercial general manager, said, “We are excited to collaborate with Clareity in improving real estate security. Data security is paramount to us all and the opportunity to work with this well respected industry leader is very important to us. The end result of this relationship will be a better solution for our mutual customers.”

Integration and initial testing between the security systems has already been completed, and a pilot is planned to be conducted in an existing SAFEMLS market.
