RISMEDIA, November 6, 2006?Chase, one of the nation?s leading residential housing lenders, has announced that Amy Marcussen has joined its home mortgage group as National Head of Construction Lending.

This division supports the needs of consumers who need construction financing on their new homes and are working with local home builders. Marcussen will focus on building the national products and processing platform so Chase can provide a seamless mortgage experience for consumers and builders during construction.

?With excellent experience in the construction-to-permanent builder industry, Amy will help us continue to build strong relationships with builders and increase our new construction financing contacts,? said Desmond Smith, Chase Business Development executive.

Marcussen, who will be based in the company?s Denver Construction Center, joins Chase with more than 20 years of construction administration experience in commercial, residential and retail land development. She had been division executive of mortgage operations at Long Beach Mortgage, where she had national operations responsibilities for the non-prime channel of Washington Mutual. Prior to that, Marcussen was at Countrywide, spending her last four years there developing and managing the company?s construction-to-permanent delivery platform.
