RISMEDIA, November 28, 2006? MyHomeLink.com collaborated with the HandsOnNetwork to help aide in the disaster response. Through a generous donation, MyHomeLink was able to provide enjoyment to children affected by Hurricane Katrina while painting a mural at a local school in New Orleans.

While visiting New Orleans, MyHomeLink staff members saw first hand the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. Despite the progress, there is still much work to be done.

“You can still see tarps on rooftops as you fly into the city,” said Laura Dowdle, MyHomeLink Marketing specialist. “The destruction that still remains is heartbreaking. I can’t imagine how horrifying the devastation must have been.”
