Wright offers expertise in on-site residential real estate sales, project development
RISMEDIA, December 6, 2006? Sharon Seline Wright was, at the age of 29, the first female vice president of Tiffany & Co. A decade later she traded retail for real estate. She is now one of the city’s most respected hi-rise experts and recently joined Prudential Gary Greene’s Inner Loop office.
Wright, who served as project manager of downtown’s first luxury high-rise condominium and who in April was named the high-rise living expert in Houston by H Texas magazine, now heads up The Facilitators Plus Team at Prudential Gary Greene’s Inner Loop office, a position she’s held since early October.
In that capacity, Wright and her team are working on site with developers at Commerce Towers and Jackson Place, two new residential properties in downtown Houston.
Wright and her colleagues, Leslie Wertz and Allen Saper, are different from other real estate agents in that they are working with projects from the beginning and have the opportunity to assist with marketing, design and pre-sales.
“We go in and help the developer with the concept of a property, the layout, design,” she said. “They need to know what is going to sell the best, what the community wants so they can turn around and build it. At the same time we can begin presales with proper marketing.”
Once project plans and marketing campaigns are in place, the next step is to sell. Wright said that’s where the talent of her team comes into play. “My team is trained to paint a real picture for the client,” she said. “Then buyers can see it, touch it, feel it, taste it.”
She said her group’s diversity is a key factor in its success. Wertz has more than 10 years experience in the real estate market, which includes originating more than $50 million per year in mortgage and real estate transactions. Saper, who is just out of college, works with first-time home buyers. “Saper is young and can identify with young buyers,” said Wright.
Wright is quick to credit Prudential Gary Greene for giving her the opportunity to bring her team and her ideas to the company. “They allow their Realtors to work independently and don’t put them into a box,” she said.
Wright’s manager Ray Allison returned the compliment. “Sharon knows what she’s doing, and she does it very well,” he said. Allison said Wright is providing a much-needed service in the real estate industry. “Builders and developers contact us frequently requesting this type of expertise.”
