RISMEDIA, December 7, 2006?Matt Jones, founder and CEO of FavoriteAgent.com, and Arch Williams, President of Arrington, Edgar & Shiel (AES), announce a joint venture in the formation of Hewlette & Levinson Financial Services (H&L). This new company will offer mortgage services to FavoriteAgent.com ‘s residential and commercial real estate customers, numbering approximately 55,000 every month from its 1400 markets.

Arrington, Edgar & Shiel, a privately held LLC headquartered in Raleigh, NC, manages independent retail mortgage banking companies and title insurance brokerages in joint ventures with mid-sized real estate companies, home builders, real estate developers, financial advisers, and insurance brokers located throughout the southeastern United States. AES views this new joint venture with FavoriteAgent as a way to expand its reach beyond the regional level to the national and then the international. Says Williams, “We consider this strategic partnership an opportunity for our company that should give us the ability to challenge Lending Tree as a leading national residential lender within the next two years.”

With the addition of mortgage financing through Hewlette & Levinson, FavoriteAgent has expanded its menu of real estate services to include real estate brokerage, title insurance, settlement services, technology licensing, real estate brokerage financing, and other real estate-related services.
