RISMEDIA, December 7, 2006?Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., the franchise arm of Weichert, Realtors, strengthens its office network in the Northeast with the openings of affiliated offices in New Bedford, Mass., and in New York City.

Welcoming the new affiliates, Martin J. Rueter, president of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, said, “Given the impressive backgrounds of these franchise owners and our shared emphasis on customer service, we anticipate that these new affiliations will enable us to continue to raise the service bar in their respective markets.”

The new affiliates are:

– Weichert, Realtors – Mel Antonio Group, New Bedford, Mass. Broker Mel Antonio is the owner of the former Mel Antonio Real Estate. Daughter Stacy Antonio joins as business manager.

- Weichert, Realtors – Perry Associates, New York, N.Y. Located in a historic Harlem brownstone, Weichert’s fourth Manhattan affiliate is owned by Elaine Perry. Charles Annabelle is broker of record.
