Company stands alone in spotlight for real estate category
RISMEDIA, December 13, 2006?Prudential Georgia Realty was one of 60 companies in Georgia to be named a Best Place to Work in Georgia by Georgia Trend November issue of the magazine. More than 200 nominations were received and 60 companies were selected for the magazine?s first-ever Best Places to Work list. Prudential is the only nationally franchised real estate company to make the list and the only real estate company in metro Atlanta on the list.
The primary reason employees nominated their employers was the people at that company?coworkers, bosses, customers. After people, the most frequently mentioned reasons included values, ethics and being proud of where they worked.
?We are honored to be named to a list which includes such heavyweights as Chick-fil-A, SunTrust Banks, and Synovus Financial,? said Prudential Georgia Realty President and CEO Dan Forsman. It’s a testimony to the professionalism of everyone in this company?from management to office staff to our team of more than 1,400 real estate professionals.
Prudential Georgia Realty is already a three-time winner of the Consumers? Choice Award as Best in Class for Executive Home Sales in metro Atlanta. It is the 11th largest Prudential real estate affiliate in North America. Ranked by Real Estate magazine as one of the top 100 real estate companies in the U.S., the company placed 43rd for most 2005 transactions in the real estate trade magazine?s 2006 Power Broker Report.
The firm set a sales record in 2005 with $2.8 billion in gross sales, breaking the 10,000-transaction mark for the first time in its 42-year history, and is on pace to exceed those totals for 2006. The company has 22 locations in metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
