RISMEDIA, Jan. 8, 2007-Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates, Inc. launched eGallery, a real-time, advanced property slideshow of selected Sotheby's International Realty® properties designed to be displayed on widescreen LCD and plasma television monitors. The custom slideshows will appear in participating Sotheby's International Realty offices and Sotheby's Auction House locations around the world.
All eGallery display screens are linked together with technology that selects distinctive homes found on the sothebysrealty.com Web site, and broadcasts these listings globally with high-resolution photography that is far superior to standard photography utilized on the Web. There are currently more than 1,000 listings in the eGallery inventory, allowing brokers to showcase the many extraordinary luxury lifestyles accessed through the Sotheby's International Realty network.
In addition, eGallery allows brokers to display a customized slideshow of their own listings together with other Sotheby's International Realty worldwide listings based upon lifestyle, location, property type and price range.
"eGallery continues our commitment to introduce new technologies and services that strengthen the overall value provided by Sotheby's International Realty brokers," said Michael R. Good, president & CEO of Sotheby's International Realty Affiliates, Inc. "Our network brokers are located in 350 offices worldwide, and this new marketing tool will help attract and serve customers and clients located outside of the brokers' traditional market areas."
Douglas H. Hardy, president of SKBK Sotheby's International Realty, located in Birmingham, Michigan, has eGallery as the centerpiece on his firm's front window display. "This a tremendous advantage because today's clients understand the importance of marketing properties worldwide," said Hardy. "eGallery has greatly reinforced our firm's reputation as a local real estate leader that can market our area's most significant homes to luxury home buyers throughout the world. Not only has it allowed us to better market our clients' properties, eGallery has become a strong recruiting tool to attract new talent to our firm."
