RISMEDIA, Jan. 17, 2007-In 2006, Ohio saw a bursting of the bubble with a 30% jump in foreclosures from 2005, this according to a real estate investment advisory firm. Now looking outward into 2007, some Ohio real estate professionals are saying "What Housing Bubble?"
While much of the nation suffers from continued falling housing prices, Ohio will see 3% growth over the past year in residential real estate value in 2007, according to a report by Fortune magazine. With that good news, agents and brokers alike are feeling better and maybe even a little lucky as they prepare for 2007 by reserving their seats for the RE ALERTS Road show in Columbus, Ohio on February 5.
Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity says Bill Shue, known as the Larry King of the real estate industry. Shue will be moderating a panel of top producing agents that will be discussing their strategies during these changing times. Along with Shue, Stefan Swanepoel, the most sought-after real estate trends expert and Allen Wright, know as "Mr. Business Planning", will be revealing strategies to help agents prepare their business for 2007 and beyond RE ALERTS is a national series of real estate seminars held by First American across the U.S. The goal is to assist real estate agents and brokers in preparing their business for 2007.
"During these challenging times in the real estate business, thriving professionals, set the example by remaining current with trends, tools, new solutions and constantly look for an opportunity to hear up-close-and-personal tips from top producing agents from across the country," says Shue. "The thrill of victory or agony of defeat in an agent's business in 2007 could be determined by what they hear February 5th and how they apply it," he added.
According to Shue, Swanepoel's powerful 90-minute presentation will reveal the top trends set to impact a real estate practioner's future. Swanepoel believes that understanding real estate trends helps agents, brokers and company owners better anticipate and respond to change. Swanepoel's analysis is designed to provide comprehensive trend spotting which opens the door to strategic thinking, scenario planning. modeling and change management. He will share why these trends will make such a difference, how they actually are already impacting the industry, and what agents, brokers and company owners can do to gain competitive advantage.
"His enthusiasm is contagious and his messages are optimistic, intermingled with statistics and delivered in an inspirational and motivational manner," added Shue.
The panel of top-producing agents will share the strategies that propelled them to superstar status. "There is no better path to success than to model your business after someone who achieved the success you seek," says Shue. The panel will discuss the shift from a sellers market to a buyers market as well as:
- Increasing market share
