Training & Business Development: Realtor Association Expands Education Offerings

RISMEDIA, Jan. 24, 2007-The Contra Costa Association of Realtors (CCAR) and the RealtyU Group of Companies announced that CCAR has become an affiliate of the RealtyU School Network. The Walnut Creek, CA based association has been serving consumers and Realtors in Contra Costa County since 1921.

During the last nine decades Contra Costa Association of Realtors has provided professional standards enforcement, education, legislative representation, networking opportunities, products and technical support to their members.

"As the son and grandson of former CCAR presidents, I am very proud to be president of this dynamic association as it enters its 86th year," said Clark Anderson, 2007 president of CCAR.

With CCAR now partnering with RealtyU, both groups will work collectively to expand and enhances CCAR's existing educational portfolio being offered to their members. Services already targeted for release next month include helping Realtors in creating winning business plans and offering Realtors ongoing mentoring and counseling to become even more successful.

"RealtyU has the largest portfolio of career enhancing development tools for real estate professionals and they dovetail perfectly into as Associations educational portfolio," said Joél McDonald, Education Coordinator for CCAR. "We are continually focused on helping our members and advancing Realtors education and RealtyU allows us to plug and play educational beyond what we can offer on our own" she added.
