Northern California MLS Corporate Officers Elected

RISMEDIA, Feb. 19, 2007-The newly appointed Board of Directors for the Northern California Real Estate Exchange (NCREX) met on February 13 and elected their executive committee.

Elected to lead the group were:

Jeanne Garde, Chairperson (RE/MAX Today)
Dennis Moreno, Vice Chair (MGM Real Estate)
Bill Aboumrad, Treasurer (RE/MAX Executive)
Larry Knapp, Secretary (Alain Pinel REALTORS®)
Jeff Barnett, Member-At-Large (Alain Pinel REALTORS®)

"NCREX is now a reality," said Jeanne Garde, the new chairperson. "Our next step will
be to negotiate the mergers of the founding MLS's into NCREX."

The four Northern California MLS's who formed the original working group of NCREX and whose efforts resulted in its incorporation are Bay East, Central Valley, Contra Costa, and RE InfoLink. Merger negotiations with the existing MLS organizations will begin in March.
