RISMEDIA, March 7, 2007-(Part 3 of 5)-You wouldn't want to meet either marital artist Angelina Ferre or personal trainer Julie Wulfekuhle in a dark alley. However, you would be glad to meet them at a real estate settlement table where the beauty of their salesmanship and diplomatic skills can tame the toughest deal.

Both Ferre, a former airlines flight attendant, and Wulfekuhle, a former personal trainer, were announced as two of the Top 10 Finalists for Season V of the Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program. Ferre now works as a rookie agent for Royal Service Realty in Chicago, Illinois and Wulfekuhle works as a rookie agent for T & E Realty in Billings, Montana. Having made the Top 10 category, both rookies are now competing for a $70,000 Grand Prize Grant.

Ferre and Wulfekuhle were chosen by an independent panel of judges out of nearly 2,000 applicants. Regardless of whether they move forward to receive the Grand Prize or not, both are guaranteed minimum grants valued at $7,000 each. These two finalists received their respective licensing courses at the Chicago Association Realtors School, a RealtyU Affiliate School and Connole/Morton School of Real Estate, located in Missoula, Montana.

Angelina Ferre
Ferre also worked as a flight attendant and learned how to work with the most discerning and the most irate of passengers. This is also where she developed her diplomatic problem solving skills. "I had a fear of flying which I overcame and became a flight attendant and excelled in the flight training program. I also studied business management, business math and became a detail oriented woman with strong people skills," said Ferre.

Ferre ran a business for 12 years and was a manager for an outpatient medical facility where she oversaw all aspects of the business; from cleaning, laundry, inventory, to working with doctors, attorneys, insurance companies and patients. Part of her normal work routine was performing evaluations, setting up treatment protocols and overseeing treatment for patients. Ferre was also assigned the task of following up with doctors on patients' progress, recovering old, delinquent payments and developing marketing and business strategies.

Julie Wulfekuhle
Wulfekuhle earned a B.A Degree in Human Service with a minor in Human Development and is a translator for Spanish speakers. She is certified in tour management from the International Tour Management Institute of Boston. Wulfekuhle believes that this training and background will help her with customer service and communication in real estate. Her sales experience also includes work as an Account Executive for Air Tell Wireless Cellular Phones and Assistant Manager and a part-time counselor for abused children at the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch.

Wulfekuhle is certified in the tourism and hospitality industries which have helped her develop strong expertise in customer service. These experiences have strengthened her communication skills and shown her how to develop a trusting, professional relationship with diverse kinds of clientele. These skills will not only help her in her real estate career but facilitate a substantial referral base.

Each day this week RISMedia will exclusively announce the names and release the stories of two new Finalists for the Real Estate Apprentice Grant Competition. The grand prize winner, semi-finalists and honorable mentions will be announced on March 14, 2007.
