Home buyers can now access information on over 40,000 active listings in the Philadelphia metro area using their cell phones. The number of text messages sent every month in the U.S. well-exceeds 12 billion, based on the latest data from the CTIA.

The service brings the MLS to the cell phone. Through partnerships with brokers like Coldwell Banker Diamond, the MobileAgent system allows buyers to access property information on all active listings, search for homes by street address or neighborhood and then schedule a showing all within seconds.
With more focus being placed on serving the needs of the next generation of home buyers, connecting with this group requires giving them tools for immediate access to information and instant communication. The Gen X and Y home buyer group makes up almost 100 million consumers or just over 40% of the population and has grown up with computers since elementary school.
