RISMEDIA, March 12, 2007-Homes & Land announced that it added 25 new franchises in 2006, a record year in its franchise development history. The company also facilitated the transfer of existing franchises in six markets. The new affiliates bring the total number of franchises in the Homes & Land network to 337.
While some areas are sold out, the company still has target markets available for franchise development.
"We are fortunate to attract forward-thinking business people who view our relationship as a strategic partnership," said Brian Crawford, vice president of Franchise Development for Homes & Land. "This partnership and the powerful advertising vehicles we provide are the keys to our success even in today's cooler real estate climate. We welcome our new affiliates and look forward to our continued growth as well as serving home buyers and sellers across the nation."
In addition to its record year, Homes & Land was recently recognized for its growth and stability in the current Franchise 500® issue of Entrepreneur magazine. The company placed at number 95 in the overall rankings and number two in the Advertising Services category. Homes & Land began in 1973, primarily as a magazine offering real estate brokers the opportunity to advertise their top listings. The company has evolved into an integrated advertising platform for real estate professionals. The value of the Homes & Land brand is evidenced not only by the quality of its print publications, but also by an innovative Web site and a full spectrum of direct mail and marketing programs.
