ERA Real Estate Offers Consumers Property Information Through Text Messaging

Supporting all wireless devices, including text-capable cell phones and personal digital assistants, TXT ERA offers yet another new and exciting communication choice for home buyers and sellers.

The ever-growing consumer demand for handheld device content has prompted ERA Real Estate to launch TXT ERA, its second mobile service offering. Following the tremendous success of ERA.com Mobile, a wireless enabled version of ERA.com that connects consumers with listings and other ERA tools, ERA Real Estate has once again taken advantage of the latest technologies and trends to keep its consumers better informed.

ERA consumers can utilize the new text messaging service by sending the express listing number, displayed on the yard sign or as a supplement in print advertisements, to "TXT ERA" or 898372. Consumers will now have the ability to receive ERA listing information and contact the appropriate sales associate solely by text messaging through their mobile device. Regardless if the consumer is driving by an ERA property or reading the local paper, additional listing information is always right at their fingertips.

TXT ERA is also integrated into MyERA.com, a customizable home search and notification service located on ERA.com. By entering a cell phone number and property search criteria, MyERA.com will automatically send text message notifications of new listings that match a site user's saved criteria. These new initiatives provide ERA real estate professionals with the tools to meet the needs of the rapidly growing number of mobile, tech-savvy consumers looking to buy or sell a home.
