RISMEDIA, March 14, 2007-Realogy Corporation announced its sponsorship of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition's (NCRC) 17th Annual Conference, which starts today at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C.

The four-day conference, themed "Broken Economies-Making Markets and Government Work for All Communities," features prominent economic and social policy leaders, including Senator Hillary Clinton, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Linda Chavez-Thompson and Rep. Barney Frank, among others.

The conference gathers together leading real estate and financial experts, elected officials and community leaders to explore solutions that strengthen communities and markets in today's economy.

"We are proud to sponsor the National Community Reinvestment Coalition's conference as one of the many ways we demonstrate our company's commitment to fair housing in the communities in which we operate," said Richard A. Smith, vice chairman and president for Realogy Corporation, one of the world's largest real estate franchisors.
"Providing equal professional service is important to the well being of our communities, the success of our industry, and most definitely the continued growth of our business."

Nearly one year ago, Realogy's company-owned brokerage subsidiary, NRT Incorporated, formed a partnership with NCRC to develop and roll out fair housing training to its sales associates nationwide, as well as review NRT's fair housing policies and practices. The fair housing workshops, which use materials developed in coordination with the National Association of Realtors(r), have been incorporated into NRT's basic training program, so that all new sales associates will be exposed to fair housing education.

NCRC (www.ncrc.org), formed in 1990, is the nation's largest member-based coalition committed to equal access to homeownership, fair housing and credit. The national not-for-profit membership organization has established its National Best Practices Campaign to celebrate voluntary compliance initiatives between NCRC and real estate brokerage companies, housing providers, lenders, mortgage insurers, securitizers and appraisers throughout the nation.
