RISMEDIA, March 27, 2007-The Women's Council of Realtors® (WCR) converges on Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, April 13-15 for a networking and referral extravaganza. Top networking experts and thought leaders will show real estate professionals how to maximize their networking time and energy. Plus conference-goers will experience structured networking opportunities that guarantee they will make quality introductions with other top producers and walk away with a ready-to-implement networking action plan.

Keynote speaker Susan RoAne, author of best-selling books on professional networking,
will show attendees how to develop and polish their self-introductions. Then, at the Mega-Networking Luncheon, attendees will test their presentations as they change tables after each course. They will never sit with the same person twice-guaranteeing 27 quality introductions in less than two hours.

Well-known leader, teacher and visionary Richard Mendenhall, who served as NAR's
National President in 2001, will explore trends and issues changing the real estate industry in his address to the conference-goers at the farewell luncheon.

Other thought leaders who will speak at this business summit include Kathy Spillar,
executive editor of Ms Magazine, who will discuss why it is essential for women in real estate to "have a seat at the table" and how women's issues relate to business and economic opportunities. When it comes to women's success, Kathy, who is a former senior economist for the California Association of Realtors®, is a powerful and persuasive advocate.

Tech expert Amy Chorew will deliver a "no-geek-speak" presentation on 21st networking tools, including text messaging, blogs and podcasts. To maximize the networking experience, professional facilitator Jim DeLizia will lead roundtables where conference-goers will create their own action plans to put what they've learned to work and form accountability partners to stay on track.

Finally, WCR is offering an opportunity to take the Networking and Referral Systems
designation course with instructor Adorna Carroll at the discounted price of $99. This course, which is part of the Performance Management Network Designation curriculum, provides tools and tips to enable real estate professionals to operate as knowledgeable consultants with a steady stream of "advocates" and referrals.
