Training & Business Development: Real Estate Apprentice Finalist Becomes EcoBroker

RISMEDIA, April 18, 2007-Responding to growing client interest from the new "Eco Home Market," Real Estate Apprentice awardee Frank Schroeter of Fidus Brokers, Inc. in Mountain View, California recently completed his EcoBroker Certified training.

Schroeter joins the movement of real estate professionals pushing the market towards energy-efficient, sustainable and healthier design/features in homes. "Green-minded" brokers throughout the country are creating competitive advantages for their customers with one survey indicating that 80% of consumers considered "EcoBrokers" to be in a better position to serve them.

"I'm always looking for the best ways to offer my clients the value," Schroeter says. "From windows to moisture control to energy savings, I now have a deeper appreciation of the energy and environmental issues and this helps me ensure higher customer service," he said.

The new EcoBroker program is designed exclusively for real estate professionals who care about the environment and want to help their clients benefit from the energy-efficiency, "green," and healthier features of homes and buildings.

Frank Schroeter has already found a way in which to use his new found knowledge. In a recent listing presentation he was able to show the prospective sellers improvements regarding their energy-efficient heating system, their insulation as well as the waste management system. His innovative energy and environmental perspective gave him an edge in winning the listing against various experienced agents. Not bad for a rookie who became a Top 30 awardee for Season V of the Real Estate Apprentice (www.RealEstateApprentice.com) annual grant program only last year.
