First American Title Names New Vice President and Director of Commercial Sales and Services

RISMEDIA, April 27, 2007-First American Title Insurance Company has announced that William Homa has been promoted to vice president and director of commercial sales and services. Homa, who brings more than 10 years of title industry experience to his new position, will be responsible for business development and management of the company's commercial operations in Pittsburgh.

From 1996 to 2000, Homa served as an underwriter and manager for a joint venture operation owned by Midland of Pennsylvania, which was later acquired by First American. He became an underwriter for First American Title's Pittsburgh operations in 2000, a position he held for three years before being promoted to his most recent post as senior commercial underwriter in 2003.

Homa is a member of the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and the National Association of Industrial Office Properties. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and still resides in that city.
