Intuit Names Chuck McDowell Practice Leader within Global Professional Services

RISMEDIA, May 1, 2007-Intuit Real Estate Solutions (IRES), a division of Intuit Inc. and developer of innovative real estate management software solutions for the global real estate industry, announced the appointment of Chuck McDowell to the role of Practice Leader, Commercial and Corporate Services, the company reports.

In his new position he will lead the implementation and consulting team within IRES Global Professional Services to provide services developed for commercial and corporate clients. He will also be responsible for business growth within IRES' established real estate consulting practice.

McDowell brings more than 15 years of project and practice management experience to IRES and has spent the last 10 years in the real estate and construction practice of Ernst & Young and later Capgemini. There he was involved in client delivery including international and US based initiatives.

"Chuck is a strong addition to our Global Professional Services team," said Jeff Thompson, president and general manager of IRES. "His background in consulting, real estate and enterprise software benefits our organization. I am confident his experience will have a tremendous impact on our clients."

While at Ernst & Young / Capgemini, McDowell was a senior manager for the real estate and construction practice. He was actively involved in the delivery of a variety of services to the real estate marketplace, including implementation projects of enterprise applications, including SAP, JDEdwards and Oracle.

His background in supporting new business development, which includes proposal development, project costing and planning, presentation preparation and execution to contract finalization, will be a great asset to IRES, says the company. In addition, McDowell has hands-on multi-national experience in designing processes and systems that leverage leading practices and technology to improve operations.
