Software and Webinar Highlight How to Add a Personal Touch to Business Communications

RISMEDIA, May 31, 2007-In an effort to promote more personal business communication, Talario has announced a downloadable version of its Notegram software along with a free interactive Webinar. Both offerings highlight a modern way to use handwriting to add a genuine personal touch to e-mail and postcard marketing, and are available on the company’s new Notegram Web site at www.notegram.com.

“Most people realize that personal relationships drive their business. What most don’t realize is that e-mail has made their relationships less personal, which inhibits their business potential,” said Tim Aughenbaugh, Talario’s president.

The Power of Handwritten Notes is an interactive thirty-minute Webinar that highlights the large number of sales that are derived from relationships, and outlines why salespeople often neglect the activities that would generate them the highest return. Information is presented on why handwritten notes are proven to generate referrals and build repeat business, and a demonstration is given of the latest technology that makes
handwritten notes more effective and easier to send.

The company decided to make the Webinar available to a broader audience after 94% of their existing customers responded it was a valuable use of their time, said Aughenbaugh.

Each Webinar includes live polling, which allows attendees to state their individual opinions and immediately see how they compare with those of the group.

“The interesting thing we learn is that most people intuitively understand the power of relationships in their business, but they only invest a small part of their effort toward building those relationships,” says Aughenbaugh. “We show attendees how they can benefit from more personal communication without taking much extra time. A high percentage of attendees tell us their perspective is changed as a result of the experience.”

Talario also announced that it is now making its Notegram software freely available via download on the Internet. Previously released in November, this software is part of a system that uses a digital pen to send personal handwritten notes via e-mail or postcard through the Notegram delivery service. Notegram enables users to quickly jot notes with a personal touch, while automating the hassle usually associated with mailing handwritten notes.

“By making a free download of Notegram available, we allow people to customize handwritten notes with their own logo, picture, and business message,” said Aughenbaugh. “They can then send sample messages and see the impact of Notegram with their own look and feel before deciding to purchase.” To use the system with their own handwritten notes, customers must purchase a digital pen and annual note delivery service.
