The Warranty Group Appoints Two Industry Experts to Leadership Roles

RISMEDIA, June 4, 2007-The Warranty Group appointed Bob Biancalana senior vice president of Internal Audit and David Vickers executive vice president, chief financial officer. Biancalana will have oversight of the new Internal Audit Department, including Sarbanes-Oxley as Vickers will be responsible for finance, accounting, tax and treasury.

Biancalana’s tenure with the insurance industry coupled with his heavy involvement with Sarbanes-Oxley position him well for his new responsibilities. His competencies will play a vital role in the growth and operations of The Warranty Group.

Biancalana has over 25 years in internal audit and risk management experience. He began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, has held various internal audit roles at Allstate Insurance, led United Insurance’s Field Audit department and developed risk management methodologies at Arthur Andersen. He most recently was responsible for Hospira’s global Sarbanes-Oxley project.

Most recently, Vickers held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Ceres Group, Inc., where he executed a turnaround of the Cleveland-based life and health insurance holding company. He also has held the positions of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Amerin Corporation, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Pioneer Financial Services, Inc. and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young.

Vickers’ experience with SEC, regulatory, tax and actuarial position him well for the growth and future of The Warranty Group.
