Advance Realty Bleeds for the American Red Cross

RISMEDIA, June 26, 2007?People from all walks of life came together for Advance Realty’s First Annual Blood Drive, held last Thursday at? 8640 Ridgely’s Choice Drive in Perry Hall.

The company reported that ?The Blood Mobile,? a sleek and energetically decorated Blue Bird bus, was parked outside of the building which holds Advance Realty Solutions, Advance Title, Blondell & Caruso, P.C. and the Baltimore County Employees Federal Credit Union (BCEFCU).

Enthusiastic donors (local and walk-ins) came to show their support and didn’t walk away empty-handed. Free retro-style “It’s Hip to Give” t-shirts and refreshments were handed out to every participant who gave for the cause. Among those who gave the gift of blood were a large number of associates from every office in the establishment, local students, and passersby. Agents from Advance Realty Concepts (the Middle River office) also arrived led by Vicky Hupfeld.?

The BCEFCU its patrons and employees were instrumental in the success of the blood drive. Branch manager Gloria Zorn was among the registered donors as were several other Credit Union employees.

Michelle Gardner, director of Business Development for Advance Realty organized the blood drive stating, “I learned how vital the services are that the Red Cross provides and was astonished to find how much of their organization is dependent upon volunteers.?I wanted to give back to the local community and directly support our armed forces so I became an AFES after-hours volunteer, fielding military emergency and disaster calls twice a month.? I wanted to help The Red Cross increase their blood inventory and extend their services locally and Advance Realty readily stepped up to the plate for community service.”?

The company says Advance is looking forward to working with The American Red Cross in the future by hosting a blood drive every year.
