Weichert, Realtors to Host Annual Golf Outing to Benefit the American Cancer Society

RISMEDIA, July 11, 2007—Weichert, Realtors will host its seventh annual charity golf event and banquet to benefit the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer research. The event will once again be held at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J on Thursday, August 16. Last year event raise more than $50,000 for the American Cancer Society.

“Breast Cancer is something far too many women must deal with on a regular basis. Our annual golf outing is just one of the ways Weichert, Realtors tries to give a little back to the communities we serve,” said Jacelyn Botti, Head of Residential Sales for Weichert, Realtors. “Each year, we have surpassed our previous year’s efforts and expect to do the same again this time around. Over the seven year period Weichert, Realtors employees, sales associates and vendors have raised over a quarter of a million dollars.”

Individuals and businesses alike are encouraged to participate in the event. A $300 registration fee entitles individuals to entry in an 18-hole tournament and invitations to a buffet luncheon and post-tournament awards banquet. Those unable to make it for golf are invited to attend the awards banquet for a donation of $150 per person. There are also a number of ways for businesses to get involved including six sponsorship levels and gift and prize donations. The deadline to register for the Weichert Golf Outing is July 27. Space is limited.
