Tenacity Group, Long & Foster Team up to Enhance and Extend Residential Sales Service and Capabilities

RISMEDIA, July 26, 2007–TheTenacity Group, a leading real estate development and services company and one of the largest condominium conversion companies in the Washington region, and Long & Foster, a large real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic region, haave jointly announced a new alliance that will place Long & Foster real estate specialists as “dedicated agents” for Tenacity Group projects throughout the Washington, D.C. and Maryland areas.
The newly designated Tenacity-Long & Foster agents will help service individual Tenacity Condominium owners seeking to sell existing homes, purchase new homes and better educate themselves with regard to key issues for the local residential marketplace.
“This association between Tenacity Group and Long & Foster creates an extraordinarily valuable asset for individual Tenacity Condominium owners and for condominium and detached home buyers and sellers throughout the region,” stated John Fitzgerald, Tenacity Group’s partner in charge of Sales and Marketing.
“Having sold Tenacity construction products in the past, we are simply delighted to be working together with them in resale,” said Marj Rosner, vice president and head of the Consortium at Long & Foster in DC. “Tenacity controls an entry level niche in DC for condo buyers and we have the resources to help those buyers become sellers and move up to single family homes.”
The joint project will initially involve Long & Foster agents Djana Morris, Karen Thibeau, and Julie Modaressi. Ms. Morris and Ms. Thibeau will cover Tenacity’s Columbia Station, Cathedral Court, Park Terrace, Jamison, Windsor, and Fourth and Penn buildings, and Ms. Modaressi will cover Tenacity’s The Mark on M, Carolina on the Hill, and London Terrace buildings. These agents are experts in the local DC/MD/VA market and will help sellers get top resale value using staging, marketing, and negotiating skills. The agents will also provide financing options and individual market analysis, and keep owners informed on the real estate marketplace.
Tenacity Group today offers potential homebuyers a range of services including affordable financing, construction services, and mortgage, real estate development and title work.
Long & Foster was founded in 1968 and has evolved from a single, 600 square-foot office in Fairfax, Virginia to the largest privately-owned real estate company in America. Wes Foster, who began his real estate career in 1963, became sole owner of Long & Foster Real estate, Inc. in 1979 after buying out his original partner Henry Long. The company now has offices in nine Mid-Atlantic states.
The association between Tenacity Group and Long & Foster is the first such alliance between a condominium conversion company and a nationally recognized realty company.
