Weichert Relocation Resources Names Dave Roney Director, Business Development, for Western U.S.

RISMEDIA, July 26, 2007–Jim Schneider, senior vice president of Weichert Relocation Resources Inc. (WRRI), has announced that Dave Roney has joined the company as director, business development. In his new role, Roney will lead sales efforts throughout the western United States, developing unique workforce mobility solutions for organizations within this region. He will be based at WRRI’s office in Denver, CO, and report directly to Schneider.

A 15-year veteran of the relocation industry, Roney has held increasingly strategic positions on both the sales and service sides of relocation, including domestic and international counselor and inventory manager for Coldwell Banker Relocation Services, director of sales and account management for TMP Worldwide/monstermoving.com, and global account manager for Cartus. He also established and served as president of the Roney Realty Group, assisting employees relocating into the Orange County, California area.

Roney is currently a board member of the Rocky Mountain Relocation Council, and holds a California real estate broker’s license. He has earned the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.
