RISMEDIA, August 2, 2007—a la mode announced the release of lead management tools built for the Apple(R) iPhone(TM). a la mode is one of the first companies to provide agents the ability to manage Web site leads on an iPhone.
The company said that today’s introduction of real estate lead management for the iPhone is the first of several major product releases that will enable real estate professionals on the go to more effectively manage, monitor, and respond to leads – even when agents are away from the office.
The mobile technology initiative will provide the innovative and rich customer facing and back office functionality of Agent XSites to today’s mobile real estate agents.
“In today’s economic and technological climate, real estate agents have a very limited period of time to respond to leads from their customers and prospects,” said Rusty Lindquist, vice president of broker and agent products for a la mode. “In some areas, that time can be as little as 15 minutes or less. Every minute beyond that often exponentially decreases your chance of landing business with that client.”
Lindquist noted that today’s mobile agents are putting new demands on technology vendors. “It used to be enough to simply provide mobile access to key information, but now that won’t cut it,” Lindquist said. With its new emphasis on mobile lead management, a la mode and its Agent XSites will allow users to act on information, and process it on the go.
The company identified the iPhone as a perfect complement to an Agent XSite, and the new lead capture and management systems unveiled today are designed specifically for the iPhone. “Today’s agents need the ability to work not only in their office, but at their kitchen counter — and at the kitchen counter of a vacant house,” Lindquist commented. “We’re determined to leverage every new technology that helps an agent do that.”
Far from being just a receptacle for text messaged lead notification, the company says the iPhone gives Realtors (R) a unique and compelling navigational experience that benefits new and advanced users alike. Lindquist said that made the platform an ideal choice to build upon.
“Always-on broadband, integrated Google Maps, phone, contacts, SMS messaging, and a full-fledged browser make the iPhone a compelling mobile device for Realtors,” Lindquist concluded. “Agent XSites Professional users with iPhones have a real advantage away from the office — and we’ve just extended that advantage further.”
Mobile tools continue to be one of the most popular and fastest-growing areas of focus for real estate agents, who are continually on the go and less and less able to disconnect themselves from technology and still remain competitive. As a result, smart phones are becoming commonplace, allowing agents to be more productive than ever before from the road.
