As we have been telling you in past Weekly Updates, MRIS will be implementing a proven security technology, called Secure Login, which has been in use by millions of people in private industry and government for over a decade. The SAFEMLS^TMsolution by Clareity Security was designed specifically for the real estate industry. Over 30 MLSs are currently served by this solution today to further protect their content.We know that you have lots of questions about Secure Login. Here are some answers:

Are there fees for the SAFEMLS^TM token?

You will receive a SAFEMLS^TM token free of charge and there are NO maintenance or service fees.

I don’t want to use the SAFEMLS^TM token, are there other options?

eKey options are currently being developed and, in the future, other devices such as cell phones, BlackBerry and Palm, may be programmed for text messaging (TEXT pass) receipt of the SAFEMLS^TM password.

Do I need Secure Login when I switch from one application to the next, for instance from Matrix to Keystone?

No. That’s one advantage to the implementation of Secure Login. Once you have entered the SAFEMLS^TM password, your MRIS ID/PIN, you will be able to switch back and forth from Matrix to Keystone to MRIS.com directly, WITHOUT having to log back into each application. This is called Single Sign on.

Can I log into more than one computer at the same time?

Yes. You will need to press the button on the SAFEMLS^TM token to obtain a separate password for each computer you log into.
