Weichert, Realtors’ Seventh Annual Golf Outin Raises $65,000 for American Cancer Society

RISMEDIA, August 27, 2007-Weichert, Realtors announced that it donated $65,000 to the American Cancer Society from the proceeds raised during its seventh annual charity golf event and banquet. The funds will benefit the American Cancer Society and Breast Cancer research. Since the inception of the annual fundraiser, Weichert Realtors has donated nearly $250,000.

“Our golf outing is always one of the most enjoyable and worth-while activities we take part in all year long,” said Jacelyn Botti, Head of Residential Sales for Weichert, Realtors. “Not only does everyone have a great time but we are also able to do a lot of good in the process. This year’s event exceeded last year’s effort by more than $15,000.”

This Weichert, Realtors Golf Outing was held at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J. More than 200 golfers participated in the event which included a buffet luncheon, 18-hole golf tournament and post-tournament awards banquet and auction.

More than 100 companies and organizations sponsored Weichert’s charity golf outing. Among them were top sponsor Fidelity National Title; hole-in-one sponsors Mercedes Benz of Morristown, Maplecrest Lincoln Mercury, Warnock Lexus and Paul Miller BMW; and Diamond Sponsors Freddie Mac, Industry Retail Group, Inc., Citizens Bank, America’s Mortgage Outsource Program, Merrill Lynch Private Client Group, Ebert Appraisals, Ogletree Deakins, Deutsche Bank, Phoenix Capital, Verizon, Lehman Brothers, Ernst & Young, Quantum Mail and Corporate Express.
