Publisher’s Desk: When Leadership Counts Most

One of my sincere beliefs is that with every challenge comes great opportunity-and based on what I’ve evidenced in our industry lately many of you share and live by this very same philosophy.We recently returned from our 2nd Annual CEO Exchange where some 100 industry leaders-top brokers, franchise executives and presidents of key real estate services firms-gathered to openly discuss the changes and challenges confronting the real estate industry. Our initial intent in creating RISMedia’s CEO Exchange was to provide a venue for real discussion in order to bring about real change. We couldn’t be more pleased in how far this event has already come in accomplishing this mission.

Held at Dave and Gail Liniger’s breathtaking Sanctuary Golf Course and Clubhouse in Sedalia, Colorado, this year’s CEO Exchange reminded me just how innovative and proactive this industry is. From the strides companies are making in embracing technology to the tremendous efforts brokers are demonstrating in understanding and reaching today’s consumers, the visionaries gathered at the CEO Exchange emerged as true leaders in overcoming current and future market challenges. I commend all of you for taking this leadership position and sincerely thank you for attending.
