RISMEDIA, Sept. 20, 2007-Over a month ago, RISMedia Forum member piedpiperspeaks, raised the question, “Is anybody having any success using social networking Web sites like LinkedIn.com?” and since then, Forum participants have consistently been adding their two-cents.LinkedIn.com is a free-to-join social networking site that runs by the philosophy, “relationships matter.” According to the site, LinkedIn is an online network of more than 14 million professionals from around the world, representing 150 industries. When you join the network, you can create a profile that summarizes your professional accomplishments. This profile then helps you find and be found by former colleagues, clients, and partners. Ultimately, your network will consist of your connections, your connections’ connections, and the people they know, linking you to thousands of qualified professionals.

So is LinkedIn a good match for real estate professionals? The site and others like it have been given mixed reviews by Forum participants thus far, some even offering alternatives to staying in the race for Social Networking. Share you experiences, tips, and questions today, by clicking here.
