RISMEDIA, Oct. 3, 2007-Matthew Gosselin has released his book, “My Blue Goose, Exploiting The Wow Factor in Real Estate Marketing.” My Blue Goose exploits some of the latest trends in real estate marketing while incorporating ideas and tactics used by Fortune 500 companies throughout various industries. The 128 pages address topics such as microsites, blogging, guerilla marketing, internet marketing, direct mail and contact creation.

The book’s title comes from an old Chinese tale about a boy with a very unique goose. The townspeople become intrigued with the blue goose after it is placed in a store window at the end of town. The goose becomes a focal point and a lucky charm for the village. The analogy of exploiting something different about a business is used throughout the book.

“Coming from companies like Walt Disney World and the American Red Cross, I quickly learned that real estate agents often lack the educational resources to not only do their jobs but to innovate as well,” Gosselin said. “I hope “My Blue Goose” will provide real estate agents an opportunity to take a hard look at their business and generate new and creative ways to market themselves.”

According to the author, “My Blue Goose” is quickly making ground with real estate professionals throughout the country.

When asked about the book, Michele Giordano, vice president of Marketing for Prudential New Jersey Properties said, “Nothing gets the attention of real estate pros more than savvy marketing and innovative, new directions. “My Blue Goose” is a blueprint for change and a gold mine for agents with a vision for success.”

Barbara Corcoran, NBC Real Estate Correspondent and founder of The Corcoran Group agreed, “Every serious real estate agent should keep this book nearby.”

“My Blue Goose, Exploiting The Wow Factor In Real Estate Marketing” is available at leading online retailers as well as www.MyBlueGoose.com.
