RISMEDIA, Oct. 9, 2007-Real estate leader Diane Turton, president and broker for Diane Turton, Realtors, believes that professionals who pursue their passion, build skills and strive for excellence will find career and life success. Receiving the first Lifetime Achievement Award presented by LuxuryRealEstate.com clearly shows the value of Turton’s credo about following a dream and sticking with it. The honor was presented during the 12th annual Luxury Real Estate Conference held recently in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“Real estate has been a key part of my life since in I was a teenager,” said Turton.
While in this industry, I’ve discovered many important things, which have helped me reach my goals and allowed me to inspire others to achieve their potential as well. Right now, I feel that key parts of my life are just beginning and there is so much more to accomplish.”
Presented at a conference attended by luxury real estate brokers from around world, the international award recognized Turton’s ongoing contributions to the luxury real estate market. She was also honored for her dedication to client service, success as an entrepreneur and willingness to mentor brokers as well as serve as a spokesperson for the industry. The award also saluted one of Turton’s core philosophies, which is giving back to people and communities that her firm serves.
The award was presented to Turton by John Brian Losh, chief executive officer and president of LuxuryRealEstate.com, a global organization that serves and educates its international members. “Our Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to the LuxuryRealEstate member who has set an example for the real estate industry, displayed excellence throughout their real estate career and is truly a legend,” said Losh, who also screened a video of Turton’s recent interview with Neil Cavuto of the FOX News Channel. During the live interview, Turton offered a positive assessment of the real estate market and reported a strong increase in second home sales on the Jersey Shore, especially in the million dollar-plus range.
The real estate honoree was selected from a field of nominees that included several dozen members from across North and Central America, the Pacific Rim and the Middle East. Nominations were reviewed by a panel of real estate experts who made the selection.
