CBHK Hires Chief Technologist to Streamline Operations

RISMEDIA, Oct. 16, 2007-Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy (CBHK) named Philip Kiracofe the company’s Chief Technologist. Kiracofe will be responsible for the vision and implementation of all CBHK’s internal systems and public-facing Web sites. His primary goal is to implement technological solutions that will automate routine agent tasks that today consume the majority of their time, thus freeing them to spend quality time on personal interactions with new and existing clientele.

“We are looking to enhance every phase of a deals’ lifecycle, from prospecting, to closing, to ongoing customer relationship management,” said Kiracofe. “We are taking a holistic look at the entire real estate business. CBHK will maximize efficiency by streamlining every aspect of our business through combining existing Web services, off-the-shelf technologies, and proprietary in-house solutions.”

Kiracofe’s background is one of the broadest and most varied in the industry. Since his 1994 arrival in NYC, he has co-founded and led a diverse range of companies, including a pioneer online grocery service company (Information Neighborhood), an India-based venture capital fund (Soft Bank China India), an early-stage technology incubator (Rare Medium Ventures), and a regional property development firm (Realm Property Group). He joined Prudential Douglas Elliman in February 2003 and later co-founded Group360, a team focused on developing innovative real estate practices. By 2005, he was ranked in the top 8% of Prudential agents nationwide.

In February 2006, Kiracofe joined Dwelling Quest as COO, and had just five months to prepare the residential division to be spun off. On August 1, 2006, they merged with CENTURY21 Kevin B. Brown to form CENTURY 21 NY Metro, and Kiracofe became EVP, Sales & Marketing for the combined company. In less than a year’s time, the firm was ranked among the top 10 in NYC in every category, and in the top 0.5% of all Century offices worldwide. In January of 2007, Kiracofe was elected to the Board of Directors of MANAR (Manhattan’s Realtor Association) and the Manhattan MLS.

Kiracofe attended the United States Air Force Academy, where his concentration was computer science and behavioral science. He was a member of the elite Sabre Drill Team and was responsible for training more than 1000 cadets. He is currently training for Ironman Lake Placid, and resides in Midtown West.

Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy was founded in February 1996 when Hunt Kennedy joined forces with Coldwell Banker, North America’s premier real estate company, to create a wholly owned franchised affiliate. The merger brought to New York City a company that had important national and international connections as well as localized expertise.
