RISMEDIA, Oct. 26, 2007-Zillow.com and ERA Franchise Systems LLC announced a marketing agreement to feed approximately 80,000 ERA(R) property listings to the Zillow.com Web site on a daily basis. This inaugural agreement for Zillow’s Listings Feed program allows home sellers listing with ERA agents to automatically gain marketing exposure on one of the most-visited U.S. real estate sites, and further extends ERA Real Estate’s online listings distribution strategy. According to the company, approximately four million people visit Zillow every month, with 70% buying or selling now, or planning to in the next 1-2 years.
“Our listings distribution initiative aligns marketing strategy with consumer behavior — 80 percent of all buyers are now starting their search online,” said Brenda W. Casserly, president and CEO of ERA Real Estate. “Zillow is a compelling information resource with millions of visitors each month. Syndicating our property listings with the most highly trafficked real estate Web sites in use today is of great benefit to consumers and real estate professionals alike.”
ERA property listings that currently reside on the ERA.com brand Web site will be uploaded to Zillow, providing sellers with additional marketing exposure for their properties while enhancing the search experience for buyers. Through the ERA listings hosted on Zillow, consumers will be linked back to ERA.com where they can locate a sales associate to guide them through the home buying and selling experience.

ERA property listings will be live on Zillow.com with the launch of the Zillow Listings Feed capability later in the fourth quarter. Zillow Listings Feeds allows real estate brokerages to post for-sale listings directly to the site in a bulk feed, giving the homes a virtual for-sale sign at no cost. For enhanced exposure, individual agents can create a free profile page with photos, contact information and more details about the agent, linked directly from each listing.
