RISMEDIA, Nov. 2, 2007-LuxuryRealEstate.com was recently rated the most-prestigious luxury real estate Web site by high-net-worth consumers in the 2007 Luxury Brand Status Index survey. The duPont Registry of Fine Homes, a magazine featuring luxury goods and property, was the only company listed above LuxuryRealEstate.com. This survey of luxury brands was conducted by the independent New York-based Luxury Institute.

“LuxuryRealEstate.com has always maintained top placement in search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN, as well as being ranked the number-one luxury real estate Web site in the world by Alexa, the preeminent Internet-ranking service,” said John Brian Losh, the CEO and publisher of LuxuryRealEstate.com, and broker, chairman and CEO of Ewing and Clark, Inc. in Seattle. “Our place on this list is very encouraging. We are pleased that consumer opinion mirrors what the facts show.”

“The Internet has dramatically transformed the luxury real estate industry,” said Milton Pedraza, CEO of the Luxury Institute, in a news release. “Today, highly educated and tech-savvy wealthy consumers are looking for real-estate solutions, not just brokers. The luxury real estate aggregators, networks and marketplaces that allow consumers to find the right properties, and the right providers, all on one site, dominate the luxury real estate landscape.”

The Luxury Brand Status Index survey is the only measure of the prestige of leading brands among wealthy Americans. A national sample of 1,500 high-net-worth U.S. consumers, with an average income of $329,000 and average net worth of $3.4 million, was surveyed online. The Luxury Institute, which conducted the survey, is the most-trusted research institution on luxury trends and industries. It provides independent and impartial ratings, reviews and research on a variety of issues involving wealthy consumers.

LuxuryRealEstate.com, in addition to receiving praise from luxury consumers, is also being noticed for its blog. The International Listings Blog recently listed the Luxury Real Estate Blog as one of the top 12 luxury blogs in the Real Estate category.

www.LuxuryRealEstate.com allows consumers to find both local and international brokers and properties. This site currently lists nearly 50,000 luxury residential properties from more than 1,400 brokers in 108 countries. It receives more than 60 million hits each month, making it the most-viewed luxury real estate Web site in the world.
