RISMEDIA, Nov. 7, 2007-In today’s market, with today’s challenges, there is a new level of competitiveness, and consumer expectation (and demand) of getting property information when and where they want it. In Atlanta, the agents at Harry Norman, Realtors have found a partner-not just a service provider-that they believe will boost them to the forefront of the marketplace: Louisville, Kentucky-based VoicePad, which provides audio-marketing technology that allows consumers to search for a home from any phone by entering a street number, short code or MLS ID.
For the past 18 months, Harry Norman agents have been using VoicePad’s HomeConnectTM, which delivers updated property information on Harry Norman, Realtors’ listings. VoicePad’s automated sales assistant, “Eve,” creates a high-quality property presentation in both English and Spanish in less than a minute.
“We show the service to our sellers on listing appointments; it’s a great way for agents to acquire listings and extract leads in a very non-threatening way for buyers,” says Martha Hayhurst, senior vice president for Harry Norman, Realtors. “The ability to reach people-in either English or Spanish-is invaluable to us because of the market demographic we serve. We are able to arm our agents with a competitive advantage in the marketplace, all the while keeping our sellers comfortable and assured that we are doing the best job possible to sell their homes.”
Adds VoicePad President & CEO Randall Standard: “Consumers are inquiring on properties via the Harry Norman Audio Tour anywhere from 120 to 200 times a day. While the length of the presentation is controlled by the agents, we have designed the presentation to where consumers can get the most relevant, updated property information within a few seconds without going home and looking it up on a potentially competitive Web site. The quality of our bilingual, automated property presentations is our ‘secret sauce.’ What we’ve found is that consumers want to engage with automation both at home and at the curb.”
“The leads go directly to our agents-and if the agent is on vacation, etc., they can even auto-forward their inquiries to the broker or duty agent,” adds Hayhurst. What’s more, along with the actual audio tour, VoicePad also provides trend and detail reporting by property, agent, office and company. “This information on the inquiries that are coming in is detailed and helps us organize our listings and our seller feedback.”
Now, VoicePad is launching an enhancement (called MobileIDXTM) for the Harry Norman Audio Tour, according to Standard. “What we’ve done is integrate their listing data from two (competing) MLS systems,” he explains. “Now, the mobile IDX will auto-create property presentations with update changes directly from their listing data. Consumers will be able to call a number, enter the street address, or property MLS ID to find the listing. Then, they can play the message about the property and the system will automatically notify the agent.”
The VoicePad MobileIDX empowers agents and consumers to search for any home from any phone. Consumers can either enter (or speak) a street address number or MLS ID, and VoicePad will look up and deliver the property information in high-quality English or Spanish sentence structure. Plus, it integrates directly with the broker’s listing data for complete automation.
Harry Norman, Realtors will be able to provide its clients with even more choice offerings, and Hayhurst, for one, seems pleased.
“At the end of the day, VoicePad serves the highest needs of the enduser-the agent-and that’s the bottom line,” explains Hayhurst. “Like everything else with VoicePad, this product leads to success for everyone if used properly. We are very comfortable with any idea or concept that comes from VoicePad. We know that Randy and his group have the best interests of the customer and agent in mind, with the same result-success.”
