Fidelity Announces the Release of its Redesigned, Enhanced LAMPS Version 2.10

RISMEDIA, Nov. 15, 2007-Fidelity National Real Estate Solutions (FNRES), a division of Fidelity National Financial, Inc., a Fortune 500 provider of products, services and technology solutions to the financial and real estate industries, has announced the release of LAMPSTM v2.10, a redesigned and enhanced upgrade of its association management solution. The release, currently being deployed to more than 175,000 LAMPS users, includes both new capabilities and improved functionality in existing features.

“The thrust of the new design and enhanced features is to free up association staff by accelerating navigation, automating more tasks and encouraging more direct use by members,” said Beverly Faull, SVP and general manager of Fidelity National MLS Systems and Solutions. “Our goal is to allow information input once to be disbursed throughout an organization without going through multiple databases or requiring additional costly and risky repetitive data entry.”

Launched by Bravepoint in 2004, the company says that LAMPS was the first Web-based system to offer real-time integration with the National Association of REALTORS® database. It has two entirely Web-based modules that allow 24/7 access: an Intranet module for the association’s administrative team and an Internet module by which REALTORS® can submit, retrieve and update their information at any time.

Because LAMPS uses Microsoft’s .NET framework and XML, the application can be easily integrated with an association’s enterprise system, serving as its “out-of-the-box,” front-end Web site.

“Whether a user chooses to employ its own site or use the LAMPS site,” said Faull, “the platform offers a robust User experience beyond the static, purely functional interaction its members may be used to. The goal is to encourage individual interaction by members and stimulate such things as online class registration, bill payment, purchases and more.”

According to the company, in addition to improved menu navigation, LAMPS v2.10 includes enhancements to its dues and accounting modules, as well as several important integrations. The Associated Documents feature for Members and Offices helps reduce paper use, while integration with NAR’s eCommerce 3-way split functionality reduces credit card processing fees for dues payments. Integration with FNRES’ GetMediaNow allows convenient and economical printing of marketing materials, while the integration with the SAFEMLS token-based security system provides added login protection.

“The LAMPS 2.10 release has benefited directly from customer input,” said Faull. “The result is a system that is both easier to use and more powerful. We are confident this provides LAMPS with a competitive advantage in the marketplace and the growing number of Associations using LAMPS confirms that.”
