RISMEDIA, Nov. 21, 2007-Luxury Real Estate’s Board of Regents announced its expansion into Panama with BusinessPanama Real Estate. According to the Board, BusinessPanama Real Estate will be the exclusive representative of the Panama territory. LuxuryRealEstate.com has one of the largest international presences of luxury real estate brands or networks, with members in 65 countries, representing properties in 111 countries.

“It’s amazing to see how quickly BusinessPanama Real Estate has climbed to the top of our organization to join our Board of Regents,” said John Brian Losh, CEO and publisher of LuxuryRealEstate.com, and broker, chairman and CEO of Ewing & Clark, Inc., Seattle’s oldest real-estate brokerage. “Panama is enjoying a booming luxury market, and I expect that BusinessPanama will be at the heart of many of the innovative opportunities and high-end transactions coming to that country.”

The Board of Regents has increasingly focused on international markets in recent years, adding many top firms from Europe, Canada, Australia and South America to its ranks. The Board of Regents is the exclusive affiliation of luxury brokers and the governing body of the global Luxury Real Estate network. It is comprised of 85 brokerage firms representing more than 430 offices from around the world. Each Regents member represents a distinct territory and has been selected because of his or her qualifications and commitment to the Luxury Real Estate brand.

Juan Francisco Pardini, the president and CEO of BusinessPanama, is an exceptional businessman with numerous credentials. He is a former Ambassador of Panama; former President of American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama; former President of the Council for Investment & Development of Panama; former President of the Inter-American Council for Commerce & Trade; founder and former member of the Board of Directors of the US-Panama Business Council; founder and former member of the Board of Directors of the Japan-Panama Friendship Association. Currently, he is the President of the Panama-Canada Business Council.

“It is an honor to assist my fellow brokers, and I am pleased to become a member of the Board of Regents,” Pardini said. “BusinessPanama Real Estate is dedicated to bringing new visitors and residents to Panama and providing them with ample information so they can make informed investment decisions. Our acceptance into the Board of Regents will allow us to meet our goals with greater ease by letting us network with international brokers.”

Pardini was a prominent speaker at the 12th Annual Luxury Real Estate Membership Conference in Vancouver, B.C. last month. He hosted a group discussion on helping brokers gain more international referrals by making international buyers the focus of their business plans.

BusinessPanama Real Estate facilitates business and foreign investments by providing information, business development and support services to individual and corporate investors. They keep clients informed on the economic and political environments in Panama, U.S. dollar exchange rates, and labor issues such as employees’ salaries and education levels. REALTORS®, lawyers, title-insurance experts and mortgage brokers all work for BusinessPanama to assist clients with a variety of needs.
