RISMEDIA, Nov. 26, 2007-Longtime Valley resident and business leader Vic Getsigner has acquired primary ownership of Prudential Arizona Properties. Effective immediately, Getsinger assumes his responsibilities as president, C.E.O. and Designated Broker for the 11-office franchise. The acquisition announcement took place at a company celebration on Thursday, Nov. 15 at Grayhawk Country Club. The event was attended by the company’s sales associates, management, and operations support teams.

Getsinger introduced the ownership team that he assembled to acquire and lead the firm. Additional principals in the newly-announced ownership structure are Prudential Real Estate Financial Services of America; Peter A. Terry, Partner with the law firm of Quarles & Brady, LLP; and Steve Games, Nyda Jones-Church, and Jeff Welles, formerly of Prudential California Realty. Games and Jones-Church were the owners of Prudential California Realty, the largest Prudential franchise in North America prior to selling to Homeservices of America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. Welles served as the CFO for the firm prior to the sale. Getsinger will join these additional partners to form the new Board of Directors for Prudential Arizona Properties.

After Getsinger’s introductions, Steve Games gave a presentation on the importance of passion, drive and belief systems in creating success. At the conclusion of Games’ speech, Getsinger commented, “It was very important that the company got a chance to see the level of skill and understand the depth of commitment the new owners bring to our business. This new ownership team has all the skills necessary to move Prudential Arizona Properties and our sales force forward. We have been in the business a long time and know how to prosper in all types of markets. Our timing to pull together on this venture couldn’t be more perfect. When many real estate firms in the Valley may be confused as to where to take their next steps, our direction is clear.”

The entire management team will report directly to Getsinger.Getsinger says, “I look forward to building on the solid foundation the company currently enjoys and taking the company to the next level through enhanced services and resources for our agents and an aggressive strategy for our future,”

Previously, he was the majority owner and operator of Prudential Arizona Realty, a highly successful real estate operation in the Valley from 1989 until the company sold in 1997.
