First American Title Names Two New Division Presidents

RISMEDIA, Dec. 4, 2007-First American Title Insurance Company announced that Luis Yeager has been named division president for the company’s operations in San Antonio, Texas and Brian Bowman has been named Houston-area division president.

In this new role, Yeager will oversee all aspects of the division’s operations, including managing business results, customer satisfaction and market-share growth.

Yeager joined First American in 2002 as a law clerk in the National Claims/Legal department in Santa Ana, Calif., and was quickly promoted to claims counsel a year later. In 2004, he was named division counsel for the company’s National Default Title Services division. He relocated to Arizona in 2005 to accept a position as division counsel for First American’s Arizona division, then moved to Texas in 2006 after being appointed to his most recent position as chief operating officer for the San Antonio division.

Prior to joining First American, Bowman worked in sales and advertising for a CBS affiliate in Charleston, S.C., before being promoted to a similar position with the network. Following a stint as a luxury suite sales manager for the Houston Astros, Bowman joined First American in 1997 as a sales representative with the company’s branch in Kingwood, Texas. He transferred to the Galleria office in 2002 and was named Houston sales manager nine months later. In late 2005, he accepted his most recent assignment as San Antonio division president, where he displayed tremendous leadership in successfully streamlining San Antonio’s operation while producing one of the best financial performances in recent years.

Bowman is actively involved in a number of professional organizations in San Antonio, including the San Antonio Young Real Estate Professionals, the Chamber of Commerce, and the city’s economic outlook committee. He also is an active member of Cornerstone Church and a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network, Sunshine Kids and the Meadowlands Orphanage in San Antonio.
