RISMEDIA, Dec. 5, 2007-After creating contact and customer management software since 1987, 2006 marked the year that Sage expanded its product line to exclusively include the real estate industry. ACT! for Real Estate 2008 Contact and Customer Management Solutions has been introduced as what the company refers to as the ultimate real estate-specific software designed to simplify the everyday chores that anyone in the real estate industry is faced with.

ACT! for Real Estate 2008 is all about organization and customization. These are two important features in an industry where most of an agent’s business comes from referrals. According to the company, ACT! allows real estate agents to organize all buyer and seller information in one place, prioritize appointments and tasks and to stay in touch to create referral business. Everything the real estate agent needs to manage their contacts is found in the box and is geared specifically towards them.

The interactive dashboards are used as the springboard to all the other parts of the program. The dashboards are completely customizable so all the pertinent information a real estate agent uses on a day-to-day basis is at their fingertips. A daily schedule keeps the agent on task and allows them the opportunity to set a specific time period for the schedule to cover, whether it be a week or even a month. The dashboards include graphs to help keep track of activities, property listings, sales opportunities as well as the progress of team members.

Activity reports are another useful feature for the real estate agent who is always on the go. The software allows an agent to quickly schedule calls, meetings and to-do lists by using one of the more than 20 activities that include prospecting, marketing, showing properties, listing properties, closing tasks and more. The activity reports allow the agent to keep track of where they are in the buying or selling process, and provide them with an adequate analysis of how they are spending their time.

The program is equipped with 40 custom real estate fields the agent can use to acquire the most relevant contact information for any buyer or seller. Once the listing information is added, the agent can simply transfer the information into one of the pre-made real estate flyer templates. The flyers can include a detailed property description, list price and other data straight from the ACT! fields. The for sale, open house or home features templates can then be printed with the agent’s picture and contact information at the bottom, allowing the agent to effectively advertise the property.

ACT! can be synchronized with mobile devices, including the Palm OS, Pocket PC links and BlackBerry. If you are a busy real estate agent looking for a simple way to keep track of all of your contacts in one location, ACT! for Real Estate 2008 is for you.
